Palm Sunday: Worship and Holy Eucharist

Palm Sunday is a special service beginning Holy Week. We start in the Parish Hall with a homily, processing with singing and palms into the sanctuary. After Eucharist, the service ends with a dramatic reading of the passion narrative. We hope you can join us!

Every week St. Matthews is open to all who would like to join us on Sundays for our Eucharistic Service. The service follows the Book of Common Prayer Holy Eucharist, alternating between Rite 1 and Rite 2, which includes opening prayers, scripture readings, music, and communion. Episcopal communion is open, meaning that anyone who has been baptized as a Christian may join in communion. After the service, everyone is invited to stay for coffee and snacks in the parish hall.
