St. Matthew's is a church of small groups, not a church that has small groups. Grace Groups, which include sharing, prayer, Bible Study and care, generally meet weekly and provide small group community much in the same fashion of Jesus and His 12 Apostles. We also offer other small groups such as the Contemplative Prayer Group described below.

Drop-Ins Welcome at Contemplative Prayer Group The Contemplative Prayer Grace Group would like to advertise some things about our meetings: First, you don't have to have a single bit of background to benefit from the group. Unless you tell, nobody will even know whether you are a seasoned contemplate or a total neophyte. Second, you are very welcome to come once, occasionally, or regularly. We exist to support people in their life of prayer, whether you just need an occasional "booster shot" or want to share the journey with a group of like-minded pilgrims. Third, we meet every Monday at 7 p.m. at the church. Because of the cub scouts being here some Mondays, we may not always be in the same place. If there are just a few of us, we like to use Fr. Bryce's study, but we may be in the new wing if we have a larger group, so look for us!
